BELLA
This is one of our most amazing stories. I received an email from a gal claiming that Bella was going to be euthanized because she has “issues with people, is a basket case, and no one would want her unless it is for the job of reproducing”. “She was bred twice, but lost both foals”. I agreed to take Bella and we all anticipated the arrival of this hysterically mean and uncooperative horse. Of course, this was not the case at all. We were told, “don’t touch her face or ears”. That was the second thing that was done. The first thing was her halter had to be cut off her face because it hadn’t been removed in I don’t know how long. It was crusty and tight. Bella did not panic, she was not afraid, and she didn’t flinch. Her eyes said everything! Bella is currently residing with her trainer Sheryl Lynde in Anza and is progressing each day and is simply….amazing! |

Bella Update:
Bella has come back to us from Sheryl Lyndes. We had hoped to find her a good home, however, Bella has many issues still and unfortunately we are going to have to work a lot more on those. I can only imagine the emotional toll losing 2 foals must have done to her. She was in pretty bad shape at arrival. We will continue to strive to work with her issues and continue to love her unconditionally. After all, isn’t that what all of us want? |
