HOPE
This is Hope, one of two rescues I took from animal control in Thousand Palms on Friday January 14, 2011. She was to be euthanized because of a fractured foot. She was found walking down Highway 111 in Palm Springs. I felt I had to give her a chance, and had my vet. take x-rays of her foot. It was not good. She was suffering, and without anything medicinal that could be done, we made the choice to let her suffering end. On Friday, January 21, Hope left us. Though I only knew her for such a short time, the bond began from the moment I saw her and looked into those beautiful eyes. She was so special to me, no matter how short the time we had together. I’ll miss you Hope. |
