SAMSON
This beautiful yet tragic boy was only with me for five months. He was painfully thin upon his arrival at Forever Free and never quite recovered from the life he lived prior to me taking possession of him. During the five months with me he continued to put on weight and seemed to be doing well. But, this was not meant to be. It is with a heavy heart that I share that on New Year’s morning 2011 Samson passed away. Though we fought for days to help him, his little body just would not respond to any medications. If anything, he became worse. It was at that time we decided he had suffered enough, and made the decision to let him go. He went peacefully, with us by his side to the end. He knew he was loved! |
